Have you tried this trick for Peace?
Apart from sharing your feelings with people and getting different opinions (which is probably one of the best ways to get over your problem), you can also try meditation.
Meditation is very underrated amongst the millennials. They are still unaware of the magic of meditation.
How does it work?
You don’t have to do it daily at 5 in the morning. I’ll share my experience with meditation with you.
So, I thought to give meditation a try. What I normally do during meditation is play an ‘Om Mantra’ song on my phone.
Because according to great scientists, ‘‘Om’, ‘Ohm’ or ‘Aum’ is a sacred sound that is known generally as the sound of the universe. Om is all-encompassing, the essence of ultimate reality, and unifies everything in the universe.’
I close my eyes, sit in a dark and quiet room, and for the first 5-10 minutes just listen to the Om mantra with full concentration.
The Benefits of Om Mantra
In those initial minutes, just listening to that mantra gives me relief (that’s how powerful its effect is).
After that, I address my problems. Whatever that I am being troubled by, or don’t know how to proceed further, I address that in my mind.
Then with my already calm and relaxed mind, I first try to normalize the problem like it’s not a big deal. I can do it.
After that, I come up with solutions to my normalized problem (which eventually turn out to be pretty easy).
And once I come up with solutions, I already feel at peace and relaxed. And then I do deep breathing. Because deep breathing provides oxygen to our brain which makes it work more efficiently.
Normal breathing doesn’t provide oxygen to our brain that effectively that’s why we should do deep breathing and ‘Pranayam aasan’ regularly.
‘Prāṇāyāma is the practice of breath control in yoga. In modern yoga as exercise, it consists of synchronizing the breath with movements between asanas, but is also a distinct breathing exercise on its own, usually practiced after asanas.’
You’ll Experience Peace
After you’ll try this type of meditation, you’ll definitely experience a great deal of peace and your mind, body, and soul in a relaxed state.
It’s not necessary to meditate daily. You can do it according to your time-table or whenever you feel troubled and want some peace.
There is no correct or wrong way to meditate. Do whatever that is best for you. Because at the end of the day it’s the end results that matter and in this case, it is to have peace in our lives.
