Howdy Gratisouls? I guess you have made a conclusion that your fellow Gratisoul is quite filmy and a huge TV series buff who gathers inspiration from these sources (Haha), I love it though! This life is inspirational. Anything and everything can inspire us if we are willing to look at it from that perspective. Right?
INSPIRATION FROM BOLLYWOOD
If you are a Bollywood fan like me, I’m sure after seeing the featured image you would have thought if this blog is about a summary or review of the movie. But it’s not! (Haha)
It was yesterday when I was watching this movie Kal Ho Naa Ho and that’s when I realized something very important.
We are living such an expeditious life that we don’t realize it unless something drastic happens. We promise about those uncertain tomorrows to finish our pending work, to meet our friends and family or to go on a vacation which you have promised to your loved ones.
But here is one big question….
“What if tomorrow never comes? What then?”
Will you still leave everything for tomorrow? Unexpressed feelings, incomplete work?
Why do we leave everything for tomorrow? Is it because we are lazy to do it now and want to procrastinate? Or we have developed this habit to delay everything until the last moment?
I’m no saint either. I also love to procrastinate everything. My friends say that I am very lazy and it’s true. I accept that! I don’t complete my work unless there is a deadline. And I have become so habitual to work under the pressure of that impending deadline. You can say that I have become so persistent to this mind rush that unless there is no pressure, I don’t like to work at all. I know that it’s not a good habit but it’s my lifestyle now, which I want to change!!
How to stop procrastination?
This is not just some fancy flowchart of theoretical philosophy class but something to live by. If you really want to live blissfully, complete those pending chores NOW, express those unsaid emotions to your friends and family NOW and go on a vacation with your loved ones NOW! Enjoy life one day at a time and don’t promise about those uncertain tomorrows to yourself or to others! Instead, do it NOW!
Until then live positively and happily today with your loved ones…
kyunki kya pata KAL HO NA HO! ( because who knows IF TOMORROW WILL COME OR NOT!)
