The Secret

Well, Valentine’s day is tomorrow, it’s the season of love and attraction, what are your plans for tomorrow people?? Celebrating it with your better half or ‘butter half’? (haha yeah I know that was a lame joke!”)

Since this is officially the season of spreading love why should my Gratisoul community be left behind in that right? But you know me, it isn’t what it looks like. You know that I have a ‘thing for trending headings’ and this is yet another example of that. (#SorryNotSorry). But I promise that you’ll not go disheartened and I have something exciting “Valentine- specific surprise” waiting for you Gratisouls. Well, you gotta read it till the end for it.

Well, since you’ve caught me red-handed, I’ll not deviate anymore and dive straight into what I want to convey. By attraction, I actually mean ‘Law of attraction’. (P.S. That’s the only kind of attraction you’ll get when you are reading the blog of a motivational speaker (haha))

I do believe in attracting good vibes but thinking positively 24*7 is damn tough. People don’t talk about it quite often how difficult it is to stay optimistic all the time, they just advice you to have a positive approach towards life. But how? Nobody knows. I believe that people who are optimistic irrespective of any situation they are put in, are really strong. (Clap for yourself if you are one of those) I too sometimes get discouraged and think negatively when things don’t go a certain way as I thought it will, but then I think that that’s the challenge.

I tell this to myself that if you are writing blogs on positivity and motivation, how can you be so negative about yourself? And then there’s a battle between my positive and negative thoughts. (ugh the challenges of an over-thinker can get really frustrating in times like these).

I read a quote by Jay Shetty that ‘YOU ATTRACT WHAT YOU PUT’, and that really hit me hard. Our problem is that once a negative thought arises our brain creates 100 other pessimistic feelings that we start feeling discouraged and dejected with ourselves. This situation happens because we are attracting what we are thinking about. Instead, during that cluster of negative views if you think about one positive thought, like ‘What if everything works out in the end?’, a single positive thought can change your entire mood in seconds. I do believe in ‘LAW OF ATTRACTION’. We are in charge of our own happiness. If we train our brains into thinking positively in a tough situation, we’ll start attracting positive outcomes. Try it to believe it.

Talking about attracting positive outcomes, I have exciting news for you guys!!

I got a chance to be interviewed by my fellow blogger friend ‘Gabbie’. She interviewed me for her ’14 Days of Love series’. (See I did not totally deviate from my valentine’s genre after all (haha))

The link to my interview is here…

Read my interview and let me know how you guys felt about it!!

Until then live positively and happily!!

Attract positive vibes and spread love, not only on valentine’s day but every day. Because the world needs more of these positive and love vibes.

I try to go through my day thinking positive. I find that I am happier when I do so. If you haven’t yet, on Netflix they have a documentary called the secret (law of attraction). I really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing!

Loved reading your interview on The Opinionated One! Dragons always have opinions! 🙂
I’m thinking about the quote “You attract what you put” — not sure what to make of it yet.

Thank you for your appreciation!! ‘You attract what you put’ means that if you are thinking negatively about yourself then you’ll attract more and more negative vibes and you’ll get negative outcome. That’s why one should always attract positive vibes in order to get positive outcomes. Our thoughts become things. So think accordingly!!

I loveeee this post! and I totally get what you mean it really is hard to think positive things 24/7 and I really love the quote, “you attract what you put.” This really did make for an interesting read and I thank you for commenting and suggesting it to me! 🙂

Law of attraction was an abstract concept early on last year, my friend explained it to me and I applied it into my everyday life and started seeing results!
When applying for a job instead of hoping, I said “I’m getting an interview for this job” I began saying positive statements and I got positive results back!

Thanks for posting. I enjoyed the read. I suffer massively with negative thinking and I am desperately trying to turn my thinking process around. I do think positive things happen to positive people x

I guess not only you but everybody thinks about a few negative thoughts in a day and that’s pretty normal. But the amount of significance and relevance that you give to those thoughts is what matters at the end of the day!! If you start thinking positively and don’t give much relevance to your negative thoughts I guess that’ll be like a game changer for you!!
Try it once, it might help you out a bit!!
    Sending you positive vibes…

Being positive around the clock is so tough to do, but with a little hard work in the beginning, and with a lot of training, it can get easier. I’ve been working like crazy to get myself there and slowly but surely, I am. I like to watch videos about the topic multiple times throughout each day to keep myself going!

    February 16, 2019 at 7:52 PM

Exactly, with a little hard work one can achieve anything in life. If you are motivating yourself to reach at a position which you always dreamt of then you’ll surely achieve it sooner or later!! I wish you all the best for your future endeavors!! Sending you lots of positive vibes…
    Thank you for stopping by!!

Positive thinking and mindset is everything, I truly believe that I did an exercise that helped me a lot – I didn’t complain about anything for 3 days, and whenever someone tried to complain around me, I turned the conversation to a different subject. I was shocked at how much more energetic and productive I have been during these days:)

    February 18, 2019 at 4:54 PM

Wow that’s something I’ve never heard of but would love to try it!! It’s great if this exercise changed your life!!
    Great going!!
Thank you for stopping by and suggesting such a positive exercise!! I’ll definitely try it and will let you know!!

I started looking in the The Law of Attraction a couple months ago, even though I kept seeing the idea/term around for the last year. I often fell into negative thinking, but now I try to stay mindful of these inevitable thoughts and do my best to turn things around – as quickly as possible. I wrote about my experience with at my past job and what I do each time when negativity starts to overflow in my mind here: https://morningmagalogue.com/thinking-positively-3-simple-steps-to-master-optimism/

Your post goes deeper in Law of Attraction and is very informative. I hope this post reaches the many people in need of light in their lives! Thank you for sharing! Much love!

I loved your advice as much as I loved your blog!! Being positive is the key to success. But how to stay positive all the time is a real challenge. Thoughts become things! And that is what law of attraction says. It takes only one negative thought to depress you and it takes only one positive thought to uplift you. So its up to us how we think and how we react.
Thank you for sharing your experience and views on the same!!
    I really appreciate it!!

I believe in the law of attraction so much it’s just hard to keep up sometimes – we all have hard days.

The power of this law is so strong that we don’t realize it sometimes. But once we ace this we can do wonders. It’s a bit tough to stay positive when things don’t go a certain way in our lives but that’s the whole point. If we can remain optimistic in these situations then we can definitely get out of it with flying colors!!
Thank you for sharing your views on the same!! I really appreciate it!
