Hard work

Don’t be Content

Yes, you’ve read that heading correctly. Don’t be content too soon. You’ll lose your hustle and stop your growth. BUT… It is an age-specific opinion.

If you are in your early 20’s then this statement is true for you but if you are above 40 then you should start feeling content. And if you are above 60 you should definitely be content with your life right now and hustle alternatively, that’s up to you!! Don’t judge too soon, let me explain in detail!!

For all the teenagers and growing adults

I belong to this category too and this is a self-reminder for me too. Don’t get comfortable with your current situation too soon. And I am talking strictly professionally here.

We get comfortable with our 9-5 jobs, with our business ideas, with our social media strategies to grow as an influencer that we forget to broaden our perspective and take a step ahead from our COMFORT ZONE.

We think that we are being paid enough, we have enough followers, we have enough business, but that’s not ENOUGH. Especially at such a young age.

You don’t have to be content too soon. Just experiment with life before you settle in.

Learn from your failures, suck at different things, know yourself, know your passion, work for your passion, just don’t be content and take the risk.

You’re not supposed to be sitting like a couch potato all day and having those Netflix and chill kind nights. (You can do all that in your free time though).

For people in their mid-40’s

People can start their career in their 30’s, start from scratch in their 40’s, try an altogether new profession in their 50’s and start their business in their 60’s. Age is just a number. Don’t use it as an excuse to not experiment with different things.

But you should also be content in where you are in life right now. I’m not saying that you should slow down your growth, you can still experiment with new things. If you don’t like your job and willing to take a risk to start your own business, I’ll say GO FOR IT.

Yes, you will have to look into other factors like family planning, future investments, etc. before taking a life-altering step which could not only affect you but your entire family too but if you have their support and want to give your passion another try, you should do it.

You’ve got this one life. Prioritize what’s important and be content with it instead of having regrets.

For people above 60

Being content with your life should be your topmost priority because you’ve earned it. You’ve worked extremely hard, living with your beautiful family/friends/alone with your pet you have earned it all.

So, be content and celebrate life!! Prioritize the relations that you have with others. Celebrate them, celebrate yourself, follow a hobby!

But if you still want to do a side hustle, firstly I’ll say Kudos to your will power!!

You can basically do anything that you want to because you are now in a low-risk zone. So, I’ll say, keep on experimenting if you want to but you should be happy in whatever you choose!

Don’t be content too soon, otherwise, it will hinder your growth and will prevent you to take risks in life.

Just remember, success begins at the end of your comfort zone!!
