Low Self Worth

If you think ‘you are not worth it’, then read this…

What are your talents that makes you unique? What is that one thing in you that sets you apart from the crowd? Do you have enough Self Worth in you that’ll make you confident enough to raise your opinions about what is right and wrong according to you?

Self-worth is about who you are, not about what you do.

If you answered the above questions with ‘NOTHING, GRATISOUL. I don’t have any talent.’ I’ll tell you that you are absolutely wrong and I’ll tell you why.

But if you came up with a list of your talents and what sets you apart from others, then welcome to the #SelfLove Club and Gratisoul appreciates you wholeheartedly. Great going!! (But remember, don’t just boast about yourself, you have to prove it to yourself first)

Now coming back to people who replied with a dejected face and said that they are not talented enough to stand apart. Read along to know your worth and also to realize that you are just as special as a double cheese pizza to a hungry kid (Maybe even more)!!

You might be suffering from a lack of VITAMIN ‘U’

Self Love

If you think that ‘you are just an ordinary person with zero talent’ then you are suffering from a lack of Vitamin U aka low self-esteem and low self-love, and you should consult your inner hidden abilities who are screaming out loud, that you are a talented soul, all you need is a reality check!!

You need to realize that you are equally worthy of it all as that studious kid in the class who raises his hands on every question even if he doesn’t know the answer but still feels that he OWNS the class.

All you need to have is enough confidence to take your own stand. Now go take those imaginary Vitamin U pills and get ready for an amazing comeback in your life!!

Self-Worth means to Be in SYNC

I was reading ‘How to be a Bawse’ by Lilly Singh, and she stated, “Think of your mind, body, and soul as members of a group project. You get the best grade when everyone does an equal amount of work.”

So, whenever you feel that ‘things are not working out for you’, ‘you are not worthy of anything’ or ‘you don’t deserve to be happy’ that means that your mind, body, and soul are not in alignment. They need to be in sync to work properly and deliver results effectively.

Self Aware

I am an ambivert (Click on Ambivert to know what it means) and when I was in school and college, I used to feel shy to ask questions in the class openly, to answer to questions which I used to know and to raise my opinions on how I felt about something or someone when asked about. I used to feel like why should people listen to me and waste their time? I’m not that important that someone should especially take out time for me and listen. And what if I was wrong and I make a fool out of myself?

But when I grew up (still a kid at heart though) I realized how important it is to raise your voice and be opinionated about something that you strongly believe in (I’ll still not raise my opinions about anything related to politics because I’m just not that much into it). But if someone asks me about my relevant topics, I probably can deliver a complete speech about it with all the pros, cons and the conclusion. (50 points to Gryffindor for being such a nerd about her relevant topic)

Having opinions boosts your self-confidence, enhances your self-worth, makes you self-aware about all the precious information inside you that you never realized before you had and lastly makes others magnetized to your awesome personality!!

‘YOU’ Are your biggest investment and an asset

I’m not a commerce student but look at all those terms I just used… (#ProudScienceStudent) In this world full of ‘influencers’, you are your biggest influencer. The only thing that will always remain GENUINE is your ‘personality’ no matter which social influencers you follow on Instagram.

Your magnanimous personality is what will make you stand apart from others. All those looks and money can fade away but what will still remain with you is ‘Your personality’. So, keep it as authentic and Grounded as possible.

If you think that you don’t have any talent, just remember you have your ‘true genuine self with you and nobody is like you’ so, that already sets you apart from others!!

“The most valuable thing you have to give people is yourself. No matter what you think you’re selling, what you’re really offering is you.”

Self Love

So, if you think that you have all these pointers in you then my friend you are super talented and you can make it BIG in life with all your extra hard work.

And if you think that you don’t have these qualities, you can work upon them, it’s not that tough!! After all, we all are a work in progress!!

I hope that I was successful in raising your self-worth from 0-50 at least (For the rest 50 you have to work for that!!)

Love the part about Vitamin U. There are times when I am definitely lacking in that. Great post, thanks for sharing.
