Life in 20s

This is what you should be doing in your 20’s and 30’s

Freshly graduated from college, entering the real world without knowing the complications it withholds for us, we start our professional career. (while some pursue higher studies) And that’s how our 20’s begin while thinking about our 30’s making us feel overwhelmed.

So, talking about our 20’s first. Either we pursue higher studies or enter into professional life directly through a job or business. We either love our first job/business so much that we fixate ourselves that we’ll be doing this only for the rest of our lives or we keep on changing and switch from one experience to another. Which option is the correct way to proceed in life?

Explore in your 20’s

Life in 30s

Well, this is my personal opinion and opinions can vary from person to person but I feel that one should explore different options in their 20’s. Why? Because our minds are still naïve and have not tasted the professional world enough to fixate ourselves on just one thing for the time being.

Because if you do fixate, god forbid that thing doesn’t work out in your future, you will be completely clueless about what you should do then because you don’t know what you’re good at apart from that thing.

Exploring might seem like an unstable option for many. That’s because you’ll be switching into many options in a short duration of time. But in the long run, once you’ll find your strengths, you’ll be determined to work in that direction only.

Settle in your 30’s

Career options for people in 20s

Once you’ve tasted enough situations, you should then finalize something permeant and ‘stable’ for yourself in your late 20’s or early 30’s. You know what you’re good at and what you’re bad at through various experiences in your past.

So now is the time to put all your past experiences into use and work on improving yourself daily. Focus on your career, focus on building your family, focus on yourself as well.

It can be a bit overwhelming on some days. But on other days you’ll feel blessed and happy that you didn’t give up in your 20’s. And now you’re finally living the life you always wanted to and for which you worked so hard.

Your 20’s and 30’s will determine the quality of your life ahead

20s and 30s

The more shit you’ll taste during the 20’s, the smoother your life will be in your 30’s. I’m not saying that having a fixed mindset and only working on things you’re great at is a bad path to follow.

That’s excellent if you found your path early and want to focus on just that. I’m talking about the masses here. People who feel confused about whether to leave their shitty jobs or not. So that they can look for something.

If you are in your 20’s and feeling confused about what you should be doing, just try different things until you finally find ‘THE ONE’ for you.

Keep on exploring before you settle down finally.

And if you are in your 30’s still confused whether you’re on the right track or not then keep on exploring. Don’t let anyone tell you what you should be doing. If something doesn’t feel right, stop that for a while. Introspect and then explore something different. So that you’ll know what is right and wrong for you irrespective of your age.

I hope this blog will resonate with people in their 20’s and 30’s. Just try different things before they finally settle down! Feel free to share your opinions below!

Until then, live positively and happily!
