Do you know what is the biggest currency after money which we should think wisely before spending it on worthless things? It’s our energy. And whether we drain it or utilize it is up to us. So, how are you using your energy? Are you spending it wisely or mindlessly distributing it to anything and anyone?
We don’t realize if we are using our energy effectively or not until we end up getting all drained up at the end of the day and still don’t feel good about our day.
But if you spend all your energy into something or someone and still don’t feel good about yourself then obviously you are wasting your energy and should consider pondering over it.
3 Biggest Energy drainers in our Life
1. People who Pretend to be our Well-Wishers
These people are disguised as our ‘friends’ or ‘well-wishers’ but aren’t always one. They’ll say they have our back and we can share all our deepest secrets and our weak moments with them but when the time will come, they’ll use our weaknesses against us and will eventually show us their true colors.
So, beware of this category of people before you invest your time and energy on them. Because at the end of the day we all are for ourselves and have to protect ourselves from the dark and bad phases in our lives.
These faux-friends will give hints of their cunningness from time to time. So, you better look out for those signs before its too late. Stay protective of your energy Gratisouls!!
2. Your De-motivating Work
If you are surrounded by a job or a business where you are not happy with your work or your work culture then you should think about it seriously.
Your work, should raise your inner strength and motivate you to do better every day. It should be challenging, make you learn new things, help you grow both personally and professionally. Sometimes it can be boring and dull and you’ll have to motivate yourself but on other days, your work should help you grow.
If you are not happy with where you are at, professionally, then you should definitely introspect about what is wrong with your current situation.
Because surrounded by de-motivating work culture can make you dull, depressed and lethargic. Do you want that for yourself? No, right. So, introspect and do the needful before you spend your energy.
3. Electronic Gadgets and Social Media
We all are consuming social media at such a rapid rate that we don’t realize that it can be doing us more harm than good.
Since everything has its pros and cons, so does social media and gadgets. Now if it is helping us to stay connected to our loved ones that live far away from us, creating job prospects that were not there a decade back and helping us broaden our perspective towards life, it is also increasing jealousy, comparison and sadness amongst people.
If you are using social media only to criticize, complain and compare then you should rather do something else than waste your energy and time over it.
Protect Your Energy
Utilize your energy to grow personally, professionally and spiritually. Broaden your perspective towards life.
Keep a check where you are giving your energy into and don’t let anything or anyone drain it. Protect your energy. Don’t waste it over useless drama.
